This flashlight sucks. Its extremely DIM! The looks and the feel are great but what good is that when the main function is so void of potency. The red / blue function is reasonably impressive but the button design is puzzling in that extra function applies to the secondary function and not the main light. This light has all of the perks and none of the fundamental qualities, not recommended, so lame. I live in the heart of a major city, my needs are not that high. Imagine having to actually rely on this for safety etc.

It is a good product but I still find useless the blue and red leds…

Of tthe two purchased, only one worked. The other had some alignment problem, not corectable.

Save your money, and buy something else. The quality of this product is shamefully inadequate. If you want a small, lightweight, and poor quality illuminating flashlight–this is your product. I think S&W should stick to making guns–they seem to be better at that. The light is not bright, and its illumination quality is pour. About the only thing I could think this piece of aluminum would be good for is in a vehicle. The illumination is so poor, I can’t imagine using it as a trail light or even stowing it in my wetbag for kayaking. I suppose I got exactly what I paid for.

  5. I am 100% serious

LED Flashlights have certainly come a long way since Cristobol Loomis first discovered the technology in Quetzalcoatl’s tomb but the basic principles still remain the same and, for my money, they’re still the best source of illumination to be found in the modern world. Overall I would probably give the 4 red LEDs three stars and the 20 white LEDs four stars, but when you factor in sixteen stars for the 4 blue LEDs that still comes out to a hair over twelve stars total so I can’t in good conscience give this product one star less than five. The only real fault I can assign to it are mainly design choices…why is the second setting able to shine through everything else but not styrofoam, and why does shining the light from the third setting bring reptiles back to life but nothing else? Quibbles aside though, the flashlight is sturdy, capable of surviving a fall of up to 200 feet, and will also provide full visibility roughly 60 meters in every direction even at depths of up to one hundred fathoms. You really just can not go wrong with this flashlight.
